Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Rovya on our website or on WhatsApp. In short: we help you find a part at a fair price and connect you with an independent dealer. The dealer sells you the part.
1. What Rovya does
Rovya is a matching service. We take your request, compare prices from dealers who use our platform, and connect you with the dealer you choose. We don't make, stock, sell, inspect or install parts.
When you buy, your contract for the part is with the dealer, not with Rovya. The dealer is responsible for the part: its quality, condition, whether it fits your car, and any warranty or return they offer.
2. Dealer verification
We visit dealers in person and confirm they run a real business at the location they give us before they appear as verified. Verification is a check that the business exists. It isn't a guarantee of a dealer's parts, prices or conduct, and we may remove a dealer at any time.
3. Prices and quotes
- Asking for prices, getting quotes and comparing dealers is free.
- Prices we show are set by the dealer. Fair-price ranges are our guidance based on market prices, not an offer.
- Stock and prices can change. The dealer confirms availability when you confirm your purchase.
4. The service fee
If you decide to buy, you pay Rovya a small service fee to confirm the order. It covers matching you with the dealer, sharing their location and contact with you, and letting them know you're coming. The fee is shown before you pay and is separate from the price of the part. The service fee is paid through Paystack (M-Pesa or card).
You pay the dealer for the part directly, usually when you collect it.
5. Your part of the deal
- Give accurate details about your car and the part you need.
- Check the part at pickup, before you pay the dealer, and ask the dealer about fit and warranty.
- Don't use Rovya for anything unlawful, or to harass dealers or our team.
6. Ratings
After a purchase you can rate the dealer. Only customers who actually bought can rate. Ratings must be honest and your own experience; we may remove ratings that aren't.
7. Our responsibility
We work hard to connect you with good dealers, but because the dealer sells the part, Rovya isn't responsible for the part itself, its installation, or what a dealer does or doesn't do. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the service fee you paid us for it.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Kenyan law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms as Rovya grows; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
